One roll for both players. Find the picture. Mark one X.
Two players choose boards A and B from the same pair. You need one die and two pencils. No cutting is needed.
Roll the die once for both players. Find that number in the picture key at the top of the board. Each player chooses a matching picture without an X on their own board and marks its circle once. If all matching pictures are already marked, skip marking that roll; do not take an extra roll.
Wait for each other, then check both boards. Four Xs in neighbouring cells in one straight line win: across, down or diagonally. If both players finish after the same roll, both win. The game ends when someone wins; otherwise, roll again and keep all your Xs.
